Please see the Jian text, the founders of Haryanka dynasty were Kashi royals
As per Mahavamsa, King Bimbisara's father was King Bhati of Magadha
As per the Jain text the contemporary king of Anga was Dhadhivahana, who is also known as Brahmadatta in Buddhist text
He was associated by Bimbisara. As per the Jain text the son of Anga King, who was brought up by his mother Queen Padmavathi ascended the throne as Emperor Karakandu of Kalinga. He established Kalinga Maha Meghavahana dynasty. King Kharavela was born in this family and the line went down upto King Guhasiva (see Buddhist text Dhatawamsa)
So the ancient Anga line went into extinct and from the same line arose Kalinga Kings. The king of Kalinga who was killed by Emperor Asoka should be a member of this dynasty too.
Lots of information about these families appear in Jain text and I think scholars have not done enough research about them.
As per the ancient Sri Lankan Chronicle Mahavamsa and Rajavali,
In the Okkaka or Ikshvaku line King Cetiya Uparicara, was the the great grand son of Emperor Mandhata (Mandhata ruled over four continents Jambudvipa, Uttara Kuru, Apara Goyana and Purva Videha). Uparicara Cetiya had five sons,
1. First son established Hattipura, and in his line came Lord Rama and this lne went up to Siddharta Gautama(who became Lord Buddha). In the same line comes Emperor Asoka.
Not only them Malala, Licchavi, Koliya and a grat nummber of kshatriya clans all over India comes from this family line.
2. Second son established Assapura, which was the capital of Anga at the time. In his line came the Anga King ( upto Dhadivahana) from him the line shifted to Kalinga (this is from my research)
3. Third son established Sinhapura. (from my research I discovered the things below)
This is believed to be Hingur in Pakistan. From him descended Sinhalese of Lanka, Their other family lines in Panjab, Gujarat, Sindha and Odissa do not appear under the name Sinhalese any more
4. Fourth son established Uttara Panchala which wentinto extinct during Nanda rule or earlier (probably Chandra vamsis have taken over from them)
5. Fifth son established Daddara pura and this is believed to be in Kashmir. Kashmir rjatarangani and Nilamata purana mentions about their kings being relatives of Magadaha kings and there have been kings named Maha meghavahana in that ine too.
another son of Cetiya Uparaicara (not by the chief queen) appears in Mahabharata and he established Kingdom of Matsa

The real and sourceable ancient Indian History totally depends on Buddhist and Jain scriptures and some Pilgrims writings who visited India during that time.

@@talesthatresonates They were not destroyed because they never existed. There was not much writing happening during that time except for religious writing. Only religious people had access to Sanskrit writing and script, Prakrit which was widely spoken by common people did not have a script. They basically made sure no one wrote anything else except scriptures. And maybe some political treatises later on.
